Dynaweb has been leveraging the power of cloud computing since 2008 with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and our engineers are LPI certified since 2004.
Following are some of the main services we deploy on AWS
- Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2): Amazon EC2 provides virtual servers, known as instances, that can be customized in terms of CPU, memory, and storage.
- Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3): Amazon S3 is a scalable object storage service that allows users to store and retrieve data with low latency. S3 is known for its durability, offering “11 nines” (99.999999999%) of durability, making it suitable for storing and archiving critical data. It provides various storage classes (e.g., S3 Standard, S3 Glacier) to meet different cost and retrieval needs.
- Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS): EBS provides block storage for use with Amazon EC2. It is ideal for applications that require high-performance storage and low latency, such as databases and transactional workloads. EBS volumes can be attached to EC2 instances and provide redundancy and backup features.
- Amazon S3 Glacier: S3 Glacier is designed for long-term, cold storage. It provides extremely low-cost storage for infrequently accessed data, making it ideal for archiving data or retaining regulatory records.
- Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS): RDS is a managed relational database service that supports various database engines, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server. RDS simplifies database setup, scaling, and backup, making it easier for developers to manage relational databases in the cloud.
- Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC): VPC enables users to create a private network within AWS, providing full control over network configuration, including IP address ranges, subnets, and routing tables. VPC also allows users to connect securely to on-premises data centers, creating a hybrid cloud environment.
- Amazon Route 53: Route 53 is a scalable Domain Name System (DNS) web service that connects user requests to applications hosted on AWS. It supports routing traffic based on factors like latency, location, and health checks.
- Amazon CloudFront: CloudFront is a content delivery network (CDN) that accelerates the distribution of web content globally. It caches content in edge locations, reducing latency and providing a faster user experience for end-users worldwide.
- AWS CodeCommit: CodeCommit is a secure source control service that hosts Git repositories. It is fully managed, eliminating the need to manage source control infrastructure.
As well as the range of AWS services that Dynaweb deploys for running websites, software and backups, we use a range of Google Cloud services such as:
- Google Cloud Vision:This service offers powerful image recognition capabilities, allowing developers to extract valuable information from images using machine learning models. It can identify objects, faces, text (OCR), logos, and landmarks in images, as well as assess image attributes like color and explicit content.
- Translation: A machine translation service that provides real-time language translation capabilities across more than 100 languages. It offers two main APIs: Translation API for simple text translation and Translation API Advanced for more customizable options, such as custom glossaries and translation models tailored to specific domains.
- Maps: This suite of tools offers location-based data and mapping services, including highly customizable maps, real-time traffic updates, route optimization, and location data. It enables applications to visualize, navigate, and analyze spatial information, useful for applications needing location services or geospatial analysis.
- Authentication and Registration: Part of Firebase Authentication on Google Cloud, this service enables secure sign-in for users on websites and apps. It supports various authentication methods, including email/password, phone, and social media (Google, Facebook, etc.), as well as single sign-on with enterprise identity providers.
- Google Sheets API: This API allows applications to interact programmatically with Google Sheets, providing capabilities to read, write, and format data in spreadsheets. It is commonly used for automating tasks, integrating Sheets with other applications, and facilitating collaboration by managing spreadsheet data in real time.
